Our Impact

We use the public lens of sports to demonstrate how effective change can be made in an industry that lacks support for women in motherhood. We are shifting the narrative around women and motherhood by:

  • Challenging stereotypes through research, education, and advocacy

  • Issuing grants to temporarily address the financial gap endured by the motherhood penalty and power the success stories that serve as proof points we need to drive institutional change

  • Shedding light on the stories of those that have faced the odds and the invisible challenges mothers face

We invite Event Directors, Brands, Athlete Sponsors, National Governing Bodies, and Players Associations to help mobilize our work:

  • Institute policies that give women psychological safety through their prenatal, pregnancy, postpartum, and mothering journey

  • Support parents with family-first infrastructure (ex. childcare options and lactations stations)

  • Partner with us to host events and educational campaigns that bring awareness to our work and mission to eliminate the motherhood penalty

As we reflect on 2024 and all we’ve accomplished, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to every person, partner, and advocate who has supported us along the way. Changing the trajectory of something as big as sports isn’t a sprint—it’s a marathon. We can’t thank you enough for being our cheering section, providing the shoes on our feet, the hydration in our packs, and the fuel that keeps us moving forward.

They say it takes a village to raise a child—well, it takes bold and courageous individuals to rewrite the narrative of sports.
